North-End Dog Park (at Grand Strand YMCA)

The North-End Dog Park at Grand Strand YMCA is a 3-acre park designed to provide dogs with an off-leash area to play and run. This beautiful park as separate areas for small and large dogs. It has large trees that provide shade on hot summer days and benches for pet parents to relax while they watch their dog play. 

The park also includes drinking fountains for the dogs. There are mandatory park rules that include the immediate removal of dog feces by pet parents. Bring along plastic poop bags to clean up after your dog and dispose of the bag in the trash cans available near the dog park. 

Dog owners are required to watch their dog at all times and stay in the dog park with a leash in hand in case of an emergency. Dogs that show aggressive behavior towards others need to be removed from the dog on a leash as quickly as possible. 

Pet parents are responsible for any damages or issues their dog causes. Dogs need to remain on a leash until they enter the dog park area. This incredible dog park is an excellent place for your dog to get exercise and play with other dogs. You can also play a great game of fetch with your dog. 

Bring along a ball or toy and throw it as far as you can to allow your dog to experience a long run. Dog breeds that require an excessive amount of exercise will have plenty of opportunities to get all their energy out due to the amount of activity they will experience at this park. 

Overall, this is a lovely park to bring your dogs. It has plenty of fenced-in land and accommodates pet parents with benches and trees that provide shade. Visiting this dog park also gives your dog the chance to socialize with other dogs in a clean, safe environment.
