Oasis Travel Center Dog Park

The Oasis Travel Center Dog Park is specifically built for those on long road trips. It has close proximity to Interstate 70 adjacent to a Starbucks and right off the exit ramp. This makes it perfect for those traveling for a long distance on I-70 with their canines. This park does have separate sections for large and small canines. The Oasis Travel Center Dog Park is fenced and stays clean and well maintained. 

The grass stays green during the spring and summer months, but due to the high traffic this park receives, the grass around the entrance can get quite worn down. Shortly after heavy rainfall, that ground can turn to mud. If you visit this park after rainfall, expect your canine to leave quite dirty. Waste stations with poop bags are available all along the fence line of this dog park. 

The garbage cans are placed near the entrance to the dog park and are regularly emptied. Water is available inside the fenced area in the form of a water fountain for you and your canine. It dispenses both at the ground and waist height so you and your canine can stay hydrated. This water is shut off in the winter to prevent the lines from freezing. 

On hot days you are subjected to the will of the sun at the Oasis Travel Center Dog Park. There are no human-made shelters to protect you from the elements, and only one tree hangs over the fenced dog park, but it produces almost no shade through most hours of the day. 

At the Oasis Travel Center Dog Park, you are in a close location to many of the amenities you might need during a road trip. Just North of the Interstate, the opposite side of the park, there is a large Walmart Supercenter. The Starbucks is located adjacent to the dog park with a gas station next door as well. This one-stop can meet many of your road trip needs. Consider making the stop whenever you are passing through the area.
