Description

Olallie State Park is famous for its dazzling waterfalls and its unique hiking trails. Located within 45 minutes of Seattle, this place offers some of the most stunning views in the state of Washington: from waterfalls to rushing rivers and soaring cliffs. If you love hiking, then you should start your adventure by exploring the trails that lead to the Twin Falls and Weeks Falls.

On your hike, you will also get the chance to walk past the remains of what used to be a massive landslide. The best part? You can take your dog with you on this adventure. Fido will love sniffing around and marking new territories. Just make sure you keep your furry companion on a leash at all times during your stay at Ollalie State Park.

Waste bags are not available at the location, but make sure you carry at least one in your backpack. Thus cleaning after your dog is one of the ground rules of this park. Long-distance hikers and cyclists will also find activities to match their taste, as well. They can reach the Palouse to Cascades Trail starting from the Cedar Falls trailhead.

Furthermore, you can enjoy some quiet time while fishing on the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River. The list of activities continues with bird watching, rock climbing, wildlife viewing or kayaking downstream of Twin Falls. If you want to make your trip even more adventurous, you can experience rock-climbing. This area is adjacent to the park, right above the Iron Horse Trail.

There are two picnic areas and 11 picnic table available on site so that you can enjoy a delicious meal outdoors. Restrooms are accessible throughout the park as well. Ollalie State Park is a beautiful recreational place for both you and your pet. You can explore the wildlife and enjoy a great day surrounded by nature, wildlife and stunning landscapes. Come, check this place out!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
