Davidsonville Historic State Park is filled with history and recreational fun for all types of visitors. It is an excellent spot for families to come for a weekend of camping. The Davidsonville Historic State Park sits along the Black River, and many visitors come to this area to fish as fishing is a favorite recreational activity in this park. 

You will also have the availability at the Davidsonville Historic State Park to rent pedal boats so that you can enjoy the water. This state park is open year-long during all seasons. There is a visitor center, historic sites, picnic tables, picnic shelters, campgrounds, archeological digs, and so much more. 

Dogs can also visit this state park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their stay. During your time at the Davidsonville Historic State Park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the Davidsonville Historic State Park officials. 

Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the Davidsonville Historic State Park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to this park as they do not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. 

Humans should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in the Davidsonville Historic State Park. If you wish to camp here, you must schedule a reservation. Reservations can be made on the Davidsonville Historic State Park's main website or in the park's main office.
