Orbiter Park provides 10.9 acres of dog-friendly area, which has a small parking lot on the south-eastĀ corner of the park. You and your leashed pup will automatically be greeted with fields of lush green lawns, and trees surrounding the perimeter of the park. Some of the first amenities you'll find it the enclosed tennis courts, with benches and trash bins outside of it. The tennis courts are a great place to take Fido into to play off-leash in a safe place when it's not in use.
The courts connect to other amenities by a small paved path, which winds to a section with picnic tables, some in the sun and others under the shade of tall oak trees. Once you're done exploring the amenities, you'll notice one of the great aspects of the park: it's openness, with lots of space to run, fetch, and goof off with your pup. On the west side of the park, the White Rock Creek Trail cuts through the park, bordering the White Rock Creek and moving south to the southern portion of the park, where dense trees mark a completely shaded area to explore.
The natural wonder and features here make a perfect mixture inside Orbiter Park that will be sure to allow you and Fido the space to enjoy the outdoors.
