Phoenix has several dog parks for its canine residents. One of the best around just happens to be the Paradise Valley Dog Park. Located inside Paradise Valley Park, this off leash area can be found just north of the softball fields. Pack up your pooch and head over so they can zoom around sans leash!
At 2.4 acres, Paradise Valley Dog Park has more than
enough room for pups to let loose. Your
fur baby will be in heaven as they run around the large grass area and feel the
wind in their fur. Bring a ball for a good old fashioned game of fetch, or let
your doggo cruise around solo. Not only will they get some furrific exercise, your
pal can also socialize with new furry playmates. This is a happening place, so
there’s never a shortage of furriends to play with.
If you have a petite pooch, they will be glad to know
that there is a separate section for small breeds. While your pup is romping
and wrestling, you can sit back and relax on one of the benches. A few mature
trees give the park some much needed shade. Although there is some relief from
the sun, it’s impawtant to watch the temperature. Summer days in Phoenix are
just too doggone hot for four legged and two legged creatures to be playing
outside. Furtunately, this dog park is open early in the morning until late at
night, so you and your pupster can visit when the sun isn’t overhead.
Cold water is always available for thirsty pups. Do your
part to keep this off leash area free of doggy debris, and bring clean up bags to pick up after your pooch. Take your pup to this park and you are sure to get
a sloppy kiss of appreciation!
