Pelham Mill Dog Park

Located just off highway 14, this dog park makes for a great spot to stop for those traveling through the area. There are no fees associated with the dog park, making it ideal for those going through the area. This dog park is a fenced, off-leash dog park. There are separate sections for small breeds and puppies. The park is quite large and contains several amenities you would not expect from your neighborhood dog park. 

The Pelham Mill Dog Park has multiple pools and water available in the form of a water hose at this park. The Pelham Mill Dog Park itself is relatively clean and stays in good condition. The grass stays in good shape and is regularly cut. Poop bags are available, and garbage cans are placed throughout the park. There is more to the Pelham Mill Park than just the dog park located on the premise. 

A creek runs through the park, and a paved walking path weaves through the scenery of the park. You can bring your canine on this trail, and they are welcome through the entirety of the Pelham Mill Dog Park provided they remain on a leash. The Pelham Mill Dog Park has several pieces of agility equipment and ample seating. Benches are placed at the entrance, underneath some trees and all along the fence line in regular intervals. 

Several trees tower overhead providing ample shade to the patrons of the dog park and several of the benches. Free parking is nearby, and there are many spaces. The Pelham Mill Dog Park is close to Highway 14 and Interstate 95 which makes it a great place to stop on a long road trip with your canine. There is enough space here at the Pelham Mill Dog Park to wear out even the most energetic canine. A worn out dog makes for a quiet and still canine throughout a long car ride.
