Pinnacle Dog Park

The Pinnacle Dog Park is a relatively new addition to Phoenix's furtabulous dog park roster, and it's a pawrfect spot to take your pooch for a little socializing and romping good fun! The park is about 3 acres, with 3 partitioned areas: one for large dogs, one for small or timid dogs, and a rotating area to be used in case one of the others is unavailable. Fitted with drinking fountains and Mutt Mitt waste stations with bags, this is a pleasant space that will soon have a larger park built around it. 

The double safety gates ensure that your doggos stay safe coming and going, and leashes must be worn until the pooch is inside the gate and the outside door is closed. Anytime a dog is outside the fenced area, a leash is required as well. 

Most important to our canine buddies is the play space, and Pinnacle provides ample room to run and roll, along with shade trees and benches to keep overheated dogs and humans cool and comfortable. Find yourself a bench and observe the mayhem while socializing with some old and new human friends! The decomposed granite and turf surfaces make for clean, easy to run on, paw-friendly playing, too.  

Well-behaved puppers will always be welcome at this smallish park, and humans need to keep their fur-babies within sight at all times to prevent good-natured play from becoming aggressive, or exhibiting other unpleasant behaviors. Aggressive pups must be removed immediately, and dogs in heat are not permitted in the fenced area at all, to avoid territorial battles among the males.

Take a ride down to Black Mountain Road and Pinnacle Dog Park - you and your furry bestie will be glad you did! It might just become a furvorite destination for both of you!
