Located in Phoenixville, PA near Schuylkill Canal Park, the trails and Lock 60 is Reynolds Dog Park. This football field sized dog park is a fully fenced off-leash play area for your dog to run, exercise, and socialize with other dogs. The park is in a friendly community and it is frequented by my dog owners and their pups. What is so great about this park is the closeness to Schuylkill Trails and the canal. So, if you feel like making a full day adventure out it, check it out!
The park itself is in a grassy field that is fully fenced in and offers a small and large dog area. There are multiple areas to get dog bags within the park. And conveniently, there are restrooms nearby. However, there is no water fountain or spigot to fill a bowl so please bring your own water when visiting Reynolds Park. Also, keep in mind that seating and shade are limited at this park.
While at Reynolds Dog Park you should keep your dog leashed until you are in the fenced-in dog area. Also, make sure you fully close the gate behind you for the safety of all the dogs within the park. Dogs that are aggressive should not be allowed into the off-leash areas. Dogs should be licensed and up to date on all vaccinations. The park also asks that you clean up after any mess you or your dog may make while at the park.
Overall, Reynolds Dog Park is one of the nicest off-leash locations in the Phoenixville area. It's a great place to go if you are limited on yard space or just want to socialize your dog. Bring a snack and make a picnic out of it. You and your dog will enjoy this wide open grassy space. There is nothing better than a day in the sun with your faithful sidekick.
