Rincon Valley Community Dog Park

The Rincon Valley Community Dog Park is a public dog park located in Santa Rosa, California. In addition to the dog park, the 19-acre Rincon Valley Community Park offers barbeque areas, sports fields, horseshoe pits, as well as a playground and a soccer field. All of the above make it a great location for a day of outdoors fun with the entire family.

The securely-fenced Rincon Valley dog park is nearly an acre in size and offers everything you would want in a dog park. It is divided into two sections, with a separate small dog area and a more spacious area for the bigger breeds. There are water fountains, picnic tables and plenty of shade in both areas for owners and pooches to enjoy and cool off in. There is also a swimming pond which is perfect for canine fun and splashing around on the hotter summer days, just make sure to bring a towel for your four-legged friend’s paws. 

The Rincon Valley Community Dog Park' surface consists of a grassy lawn and some woodchip areas that help keep some of the dust down but a towel is a must if you want to prevent your car from getting messy. In addition to the above, there are public bathrooms by the dog park which is incredibly convenient, especially since you might end up spending an entire day in this wonderful, well-maintained park. 

If you do decide to give this park a try, please make sure to clean up after your pooch as the Rincon Valley community dog park holds the reputation of one of the cleanest dog parks in the area. On top of that, the regular park patrons are said to be very welcoming with well-mannered dogs, which is another reason why this park is a great location for doggy play dates and socialization. Just keep in mind that since this is a very popular park parking can be limited on the weekends.
