Riverside State Park

Riverside State Park is a favorite spot for many in the Washington state region. Whether you want to hike or spend the weekend relaxing with your friends, this park will supply you with everything that you may desire. This state park sits around nine miles from the area of Spokane, and it covers over 11,000 acres. It also has historical importance as it remains as a gathering spot for different Native American tribes. 

When you come and visit the Riverside State Park, you will find many different types of amenities that are available for your enjoyment. You will find campgrounds, hiking trails, biking trails, restrooms, watercraft launches, dump stations, fire circles, a museum, an amphitheater, and so much more. 

At Riverside State Park you will also have availability for a wide range of recreational activities. Dogs can come to this state park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay. During your time at Riverside State Park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the state park authorities. 

Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to Riverside State Park as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. 

Pet parents should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in this park. If you wish to camp, you must schedule a reservation.
