Robinswood Animal Corral - Bellevue

The Robinswood Animal Corral, or Robinswood Off-Leash Animal Corral, is part of the Robinswood Community Park in the city of Bellevue, Washington. It is an area reserved for the specific purpose of exercising dogs off-leash. There is a small parking lot close to the entrance of the dog park. 

The Robinswood Off-Leash Animal Corral in Bellevue has been completely fenced and has secure staging areas which are doubled gated. All dogs must be leashed until properly inside the designated off-leash zones. Any owners found with their dog unleashed outside of an off-leash dog park are liable to a fine of $25 to $50. 

The dog park is cordoned off into two separate sections. One part is for big breeds, and the other is solely for use by small or timid dogs. Large dogs which are socially shy are permitted to use the small dog section which is located by the tennis courts. The off-leash areas are surrounded by a thick line of tall pine trees which offer protection from the wind. 

There are no trees inside the perimeter fencing and so no shade for pups on sunny days. The large dog exercise area is surfaced with small grade gravel and has paved pathways running around the edge as well as a grass border. There is a gazebo with picnic table and benches as well as some boulders for pet owners to sit on. 

The small dog section has a surface covering of rough and patchy grass. It can get inundated and be very muddy after heavy rainfall. All dogs using the Robinswood Off-Leash Animal Corral must be licensed with the Bellevue authorities. Any owner found to have an unlicensed dog could be fined anywhere from $125 to $250. 

Pet owners at Robinswood Off-Leash Animal Corral are one hundred percent responsible for cleaning up all excrement produced by their dogs to help prevent the spread of contagious infections and parasites to humans or other dogs. Dog waste bags and trash receptacles are provided in both areas of the dog park as well as water fountains.
