Humans can relax on the roomy green benches scattered along the perimeter and watch their dogs cavort with friends, and chat with the other dog-lovers at the park.Â
In addition to the open space for running and playing, the park offers gravel walking trails for introducing dogs to the park environment, or for cooling off after a raucous playtime. Fake fire hydrants are whimsical visual interests and the dogs, not knowing they aren't real street hydrants, will often use them as dogs do: as pawrfect pee targets. Speaking of doggy waste, there are trash receptacles for pup parents to dispose of their fur-baby's solid waste, although they will need to bring their own bags.
Dual use water fountains are provided, with hardware up top for 2-legged visitors, and on the bottom for the doggos. Pawrfect! Shade trees scattered about the park are pawsome for those steamy Texas summer days, too. Ample free parking is provided, and the park is open from dawn to dusk for safety. There is no lighting provided here.Â
