Sixth Avenue Dog Park (near Mansfield Park)

Sixth Avenue Dog Park, also known as North Sixth Avenue Dog Park, is located in Tucson, Arizona. One of seven Tucson dog parks, Sixth Avenue Dog Park is a dedicated dog playground where dogs can safely enjoy physical exercise, proper socialization, and off-leash play. A fully fenced play section is housed on the premises. 

All dogs may enjoy off-leash time in the enclosure though owners are asked to keep a leash handy at all times. At this time, there is not a fenced play space designated for use by small dogs. The dog run is equipped with all of the things Fido could possibly need for a fun day at the park. Water is available on the premises to ensure Fido and his friends can quench their thirst. 

Also housed in the play area are pools and dog washing stations. Shovels and complimentary poop bags are provided, and Sixth Avenue Dog Park staff expect all owners to assist them by cleaning up all canine waste. Shelters containing picnic tables as well as benches are situated within the dog play areas. Here, owners can sit and enjoy observing their dogs having fun. 

Sixth Avenue Dog Park is a public facility and is open to the public free of charge. Bathrooms are not housed on the premises. Visitors to this beloved dog playground remark that the property is well-maintained. The grounds are also landscaped with attractive flowers and plants, giving the park a charming appearance. 

There are very few rules for dogs and their owners to observe when visiting Sixth Avenue Dog Park. A current Pima County Dog license is mandatory as are vaccinations.
