Sizerville State Park

Sizerville State Park is circled by the Elk Grove Forest, giving visitors an excellent place to come to for any outdoor adventure. Located in the Pennsylvania area, this park provides visitors with a million different recreational activities on its large acreage of land for every season. This park is 386 acres, and it is run by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) Bureau of State Parks. 

You can come to this park during all seasons of the year, but the pool area and overnight areas are closed during the winter months. Sometimes, other areas may be closed during the winter months as well, which will be posted online. At the Sizerville State Park, you will find many different recreational activities to take part in. 

You can hunt, fish, swim, picnic, cross-country ski, snowmobile, and even go wildlife watching. You can also visit other public land areas from this park if you are feeling extra adventurous. Dogs are allowed at this state park as long as they are on-leash but owners, as well as their pets, must follow the rules and regulations of this park. 

Pups must first be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can visit the Sizerville State Park, and young pooches under four months and female pups in heat must stay back at home. Owners must clean up after their pooches while they are here, and dogs should be well-mannered before they visit this park as they do not allow any aggressive behavior.
