SpokAnimal's Dog Park (at High Bridge Park)

The SpokAnimal's Dog Park is an eleven acre, off-leash dog park in Spokane, Washington. This dog park is close to the city's High Bridge Park and has several different entrance points. Parking spots are available at all of them. This Spokane dog park is a vast piece of parkland where dogs are free to roam and do almost as they please while being off-leash. 

There are hilly areas which have amazing views from the summits. Which is excellent compensation for owners who've had to trail along behind their pup as it explores. There are also lots of pleasant trails intertwining through the attractive wooded areas which are both shady and full of exciting scents for the dogs. 

Believe it, visiting this dog park is like having a day out in the country with your best canine buddy without having to worry about them getting lost. As extensive as it is, the entire park is enclosed with chain-link fencing which means pups can get ahead of their owners, but they can't get away. Small pups have their own extensive area to investigate. 

The SpokAnimal dog park is funded and maintained by SpokAnimal C.A.R.E, a charitable organization whose mission is to improve the life of pets by educating their owners. They also re-home and offer advice to prospective pet parents. The organization relies on donations and money raised from charitable events to function. 

Pet parents using the off-leash facility provided by SpokAnimal are not required to have a membership or to have donated to their cause, but every little helps. This dog park in Spokane is one of the best in the area and a favorite with many local dog owners. 

It's been well furnished with poop bag dispensers, trash containers for used poop bags and water spigots. A dog really couldn't ask for much more. All SpokAnimal ask is that pet parents make a point of picking up their pup's poop which, considering the wonderful park they've provided, isn't too much to ask at all.
