Located in Coulee City, this park almost cover 4,000 acres of land and sits on 73,640 feet of shoreline. 

Most visitors claim that this park is well-preserved and maintained, making it a favorite spot within the Washington area. When you come to Sun Lakes State Park, you will discover many different amenities that are available for your enjoyment. 

There are campgrounds, restrooms, picnic tables, picnic shelters, hiking trails, playgrounds, a dock, a fish cleaning station, personal watercraft use, an amphitheater, a commissary, a fire circle, a golf course, horseshoe pits, a museum, and availability for endless recreational activities. 

Dogs can visit this state park with their owner, but they must be on a six-foot-long leash during their time. During your stay, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the Sun Lakes State Park. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter this park, and female pups in heat and young pooches under four months old must remain back at home. 

Dogs should be well-mannered before they enter the Sun Lakes State Park as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior. Humans should clean up and watch over their dogs while they are in the park, and humans should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures.
