This state park also covers 154 acres of land so you will have more than enough availability for recreational fun beyond the beach. When you come and visit this state park, you will find many different types of amenities that are available for your enjoyment.
There are restrooms, kitchen shelters, hiking trails, biking trails, picnic tables, fire circles, a beach, and availability for boating, wildlife viewing, swimming, bird watching, swimming, diving, fishing, clamming, and crabbing. Dogs can come to this park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay.
During your time in this park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the Washington State Parks and Recreation System. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home.
Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to this park as Tolmie State Park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. Humans should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in this park.
If you wish to camp, you must schedule a reservation. Reservations can be made on the park's website or in the park's main office. If you are in the Washington area, make sure you come on down to the Tolmie State Park in Olympia, Washington. You and your pooch will have a great time.
