The Tuckaseege Dog Park is an off-leash dog park in Mount Holly, North Carolina. This dog park is part of the Tuckaseege Park which has been given to the canine population of Mount Holly for off-leash exercise. Believe it, every single four-legged fur baby who uses the facility is truly grateful to be able to enjoy the space.Â
Pet parents who don't like walking are pleased the parking lot is close to the dog park too. It takes just a quick sprint through the main park, with pup leashed of course, before they reach the dog park gates and doggy playtime can begin. This dog park in Mount Holly has some pleasing features for pups and pet parents alike.Â
It's well fenced with five-foot-high chain link and has so many trees inside the off-leash areas; it's almost a forest dog park. Small dogs, under thirty pounds in weight, can enjoy the company of their own size as they have a separate compound and don't need to mingle with the big guys and girls.Â
The dirt and bark chipping surface is great for running around, and there's some agility apparatus in both sections too. If the larger breeds weren't so occupied socializing and scent marking the trees, they might complain the small dogs have better grass on their side, but so far they've been far too busy to notice.Â
This Mount Holly dog park really is a treat for the town's pooches to use. What they can't enjoy is treats while they're in the off-leash areas as all food and drink is prohibited. So is rough play, which borders on aggressive. All pups are expected to be pleasant to each other. If they're not, they should be leashed and taken for a walk along the trail which runs past the dog park to give them time to chill out.
