It is the oldest state park in Washington as it was the first state park to be purchased. Most people come here because it is relaxing and it is filled with diverse recreational fun.

When you come and visit this state park, you will find many different amenities that are available for your enjoyment. They have picnic tables, picnic pavilions, a visitor center, campgrounds, a volleyball court, a tennis court, fire circles, horseshoe pits, a watercraft launch, and availability for water skiing, swimming, oyster harvesting, swimming, hiking, crabbing, boating, bird watching, and wildlife viewing.

Dogs can also come to this park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay. During your time at this park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the park. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home.

All dogs and their humans must be well-mannered before they come to Twanoh State Park as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. Pet parents should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in Twanoh State Park.

If you wish to camp, you must schedule a reservation. Reservations can be made on the park's main website or in the Twanoh State Park's main office. Overall, this Washington State Park is a favorite spot for many in the local community.
