Tyler State Park is located in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Housed on 1,711 acres of property, this stunning recreational area sits in both Newtown and Northampton Townships in Bucks County. Situated on the premises is a hostel for guests wishing to enjoy a longer stay. Reservations are required, and though there is an associated cost, it is not known how much it is.

Dogs are allowed to join their families in Tyler State Park but must remain leashed at all times. Tyler State Park is a public facility, and access to the grounds is provided free of charge to all people and their pooches. The property is home to many beautiful and well-maintained trails as well as historic homes and wide grassy spaces suitable for a good run or even a picnic on the grounds.

Among the many recreational opportunities at Tyler State Park are picnicking, hiking, biking, boating, fishing, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, and disc golf. There is also a concession stand on the premises offering rentals of water sports equipment. This wooded setting is located only 33 miles from metropolitan Philadelphia.

It is home to many varieties of wildlife, making it an ideal spot for those who enjoy viewing birds and other animals in their natural habitat. Found on the grounds for the convenience of dogs and their owners are bathrooms, drinking water, and picnic tables. There is also a nature center which focuses on the local ecology and history of the region.

Owners should carry poop bags with them to assist them in cleaning up after their dogs. With over 23.5 miles of hiking trails to explore, Fido and the family have many options to choose from. The Neshaminy River also affords families the opportunity to swim.

Visitors to this stunning wooded region remark on its tranquil atmosphere and scenic views. In support of Pennsylvania laws, all dogs are required to be current on vaccinations. Additionally, a city dog license is advised. Looking for a new place to take Fido for a hike? Plan a trip to Tyler State Park!

It is really a beautiful space. I played frisbee golf once there and it is truly one of my best memories! Great place for dogs too!
