Waggin' Tails Bark Park (at Centennial Park)

Waggin' Tails Bark Park is located on the same 2.6 acres of land as Centennial Park in North Platte, Nebraska. This beloved dedicated dog facility offers several fully fenced dog runs suitable for off leash play. One of the enclosures is reserved specifically for use by small dogs. Though the play spaces are designated off leash zones, dogs are required to remain on lead when travelling to and from the enclosures as well as in all other areas of the park. 

Owners are asked to carry a leash with them at all times in case of an emergency situation. Waggin' Tails Bark Park has earned the distinction of placing #31 on Dog Fancy magazine's Top 40 Dog Parks in America list. Visitors to this doggy play haven agree with Dog Fancy's assessment wholeheartedly.

Access to this public dog playground is free of charge. Bathrooms are available on the premises from April 15th through October 15th. A plentiful supply of fresh water is also available to help keep Fido well-hydrated during his play time at the park. Benches are scattered throughout the dog park to ensure owners have a restful place to relax and enjoy viewing their dogs at play. It is important to note that this park observes seasonal hours. 

Other on-site amenities sure to please the entire family include a concession stand, soccer and baseball fields, beach volleyball, a skate park, and a playground. It is not known if poop bags are provided at this idyllic doggy haven; however, owners are responsible to pick up and properly dispose of all canine waste to help preserve the pristine cleanliness of the park. 

Though no official rules govern the use of this beloved dog park, it is highly recommended that all dogs be current on vaccinations. In addition to this, it is also advisable that all dogs bear the appropriate required state license tag on their collars.
