Wiggley Field (at Sky River Park)

Wiggley Field at Sky River Park is a great place to bring your dog. It has about 2.5 acres of spacious land with trees that provide shade and a dog agility course. It also has a covered area for pet parents and dogs to stay cool on hot summer days. This designated area for dogs is an excellent spot to play fetch with your dogs and allow him to run around off-leash as much they desire. 

The park has trash cans located near the dog park to dispose of dog feces. However, the park doesn’t provide poop bags, so make sure you bring your own. The park has grass and pebbles so if your dogs relieve themselves on either surface, make sure you clean it up. The dog park rules that are posted at the entrance enforce this rule to prevent the spread of canine illnesses. 

The parking lot is located nearby the Wiggley Field at Sky River Park. All dogs need to remain on leashes until they enter the designated off-leash dog area. This prevents dogs from running away and entering surrounding areas where dogs are not safe. 

The park is beautiful and spacious, but it doesn’t have a water source for the dogs to drink. Always bring along fresh water and a small dog bowl to help keep your dog hydrated. The sizeable dog park area provides plenty of opportunities for your dogs to enjoy, but they can get dehydrated quickly due to excessive activity. 

Overall, this designated dog park area is an excellent place to bring your dog. Pet parents that are looking for a natural environment for their dogs to enjoy and run free in a fenced-in area will benefit highly from visiting this park. Pet parents can also enjoy accommodations such as benches and shaded areas of the park that help you stay cool while your dog runs around playing and socializing with others.
