Windermere Dog Park

This flat fenced-in area is part of the larger park in Cumming, Georgia, featuring plenty of attractive amenities for residents and first-time visitors as well. The location offers an open grass field along with 0.55 miles of nature trails, one picnic pavilion, a playground, and restrooms located nearby.

Windermere Dog Park can be accessed just down off Windermere Parkway along the creek, with a 0.37 mile paved walking trail looping the field. Owners can enter the dog area by crossing the bridge over the creek and go on wood trails located at the far end.

The location provides both small and large dogs with a separate running area as well as free space to jump, fetch, sniff, and play with the other animals in the park. There is not a lot of shade you can find inside the park perimeter, although owners will be able to take advantage of plenty of seating options and a water area located on both sides of the park.

Windermere Dog Park is mostly covered in grass, making the location an ideal place for relaxing walks alongside your furry best friend. The nature trail is approximately half a mile and it provides owners and their dogs with a chance to unwind, relax, and get a bit of fresh air. Furthermore, visitors have the opportunity to join various sporting events and fun games usually taking place in the surrounding area.

Another plus for Windermere Dog Park is that it provides all owners with waste disposal bags so that they can clean up after their dogs. There are also plenty of maintained trash cans on the property to keep the area in good condition.
