Description

Located in an S-shaped valley in Sullivan County and surrounded by the Loyalsock State Forest, Worlds End State Park is a 780-acre parkland that offers a multitude of recreational activities for all preferences. With its pristine landscape, this park is ideal for photography passionates as well. Covering less than 8,000 acres, Worlds End State Park is that large, but its placement makes it perfect for exploring.

You can start with The Loyalsock Trail, a 59.2-mile hiking trail that connects the Worlds End State Park with the Loyalsock State Forest. Then you must check out the Cottonwood Falls - the only waterfall in this area. Although it isn't that large, it's amazingly beautiful. Last but not least, watch the sunset from the Canyon Vista.

Besides offering incredible scenery, Worlds End State Park is a place of fun adventures. Whether it's hiking, fishing, swimming, wildlife watching or snowmobiling in the cold season, there's something to do for everyone. In addition, the park offers a wide range of environmental education programs meant to teach people more about the natural resources. The park is open all year round, from sunrise to sunset.

The good news is that you can take Fido with you to explore the park together. However, pets are only allowed on designated sites, which are 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 37, 38, 39 and 40. In addition, when you're making a reservation, you need to confirm that you're bringing a pet with you. Waste bags are not available on-site, so make sure you pack them along with other items for your dog such as toys.

Dogs love being outside, so take advantage of this beautiful location at Worlds End State Park and enjoy some bonding time together. For maximum safety, keep an eye on Fido at all times. Whether you go hiking, swimming, or watching the sunset, Worlds End State Park offers the perfect combination of adventures and astonishing landscapes!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
