Northern Walnut Creek Trail is found in Austin's Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park. This section runs from Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park to the area known as Mopac South. This particular trail is only one of four trails within a larger system. Between the four trails there are nine creek crossings. Your main canine squeeze may join you in all areas of the trails and park, but you must keep them leashed at all times.Â
This pawsitively awesome trail is of moderate difficulty and is a pawpular spot for peeps looking for a furrific place to take a walk with their pooches. The trail is wide and comprised of concrete. It meanders along a creek and through many forested areas, small parks, and neighborhoods.Â
You will discover that this path has a few small inclines at the beginning, but is mostly flat. It is the pawrfect spot for walking, trail running, bird watching, and road biking. To experience the trail at its best, it is recommended that you bring your fave pooch for a run between the months of April and October. To be sure you have access to all the things you might need, bring along some drinking water, cleanup bags, and a snack or two to keep hunger at bay.Â
