Rock Springs Park Trail

Ready for a hike through one of Lawrenceville's most pawpular hiking havens? Consider a trip along the Rock Springs Park Trail. Nestled within Rock Springs Park, you will find this amazing trail that is the pawrfect place for people and pooches of all ages and skill levels to go on a hiking adventure. 

This is one wooftastic spot that's got it all! You can take your pooch for a hike then come back to the park to enjoy a picnic on the grounds or a little play time in the on-site off-leash dog park. Your pup may freely join you in both the park and on the trail, but please keep Fido on his leash at all times. 

You will find lots of pawrking between the two large lots found at Rock Springs Park. Be sure to use the bathrooms located just outside the pawrking lot before you head out on your trail adventure! You can pick up the trail just inside the park grounds. The path consists of both hard and soft areas and travels the path of a creek. 

Some of the pawsome geographical features you will discover include forested areas, ravines, ridges, and even some pawrifcally beautiful hilltops! There is also a footbridge suspended above the creek that is the pawrfect place for breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the beauty that surrounds you. If you're really lucky, you and your pooch might just spot some of the birds that like to frequent the trail. 

Be sure to bring along water and cleanup bags. With grills provided in the Rock Springs Park within the picnic areas, you can even cook up a feast to enjoy after your hike is done. A pawrfect ending to a pawrfect day!
