There is a total of 6.25-miles of trails which meander throughout the preserve, offering easy to moderate-rated hikes. Every trail is pup-friendly and suitable for all fitness levels, offering spectacular scenery in a wooded setting.

From the main entrance, hop on the Highlands Trail for 0.38 miles, designated for hikers, which runs along the creek, or the moderate-rated Narrows Ridge Trail which will take you 3.2 miles in an exploration around the entire preserve, eventually returning you to the entrance. This is a shared trail with bicyclists. Or take the Hanby Hollow Trail for 0.9 miles and pick up the Thompson Trace Trail for 1.4 miles. Both are for hikers only and offer an easy rating for you pup! The 0.35-mile Boy Scout Trail can end the day with a short walk.
