Leavenworth is the northwest corner of downtown along Park Avenue. It's a beautiful two-block stretch of bright green grass and colorful trees, all surrounding a wonderful fountain in its center. If you're on the west side of Downtown, Lipe Art Park is pretty small and not necessarily ideal for your doggy to play in but it's a cool attraction to check out of you're nearby.
Closer to the heart of downtown, you have Perseverance Park. This spot is small and is a good place to stop and rest if you get tired, as it offers shade and seating.
