I'm a passionate animal lover but specifically adore doggos! I believe dogs are gifts to people and I enjoy spending time, walking, and playing with any and all kinds of dogs. I'm a recent college grad and a fellow dog owner to a handsome Husky/Elkhound mix named Grizzly and a Great Pyrenees puppy mill rescue named Gracie! I look forward to providing you and your dog the greatest Wag experience yet!

Dog Walking in Syracuse

Within the Syracuse city limits, you’ll find several museums, music and art performances, and over 1,000 acres of parkland. The Department of Parks, Recreation & Youth Programs oversees more than 170 parks and recreational areas, many of which welcome leashed dogs along with visitors.

The Onondaga Lake Park is a popular gathering place for families and friends. Here, four trails offer different views, giving you a unique glimpse of the park each time you visit. Stop by the Salt Museum for a brief history lesson about the city, or else take your pup down to the Shoreline Walking Trail for some fresh air and exercise.

To the north of Onondaga Lake Park, you’ll find the Wegmans Good Dog Park. This 40,000 square foot area is open year round and gives Syracuse’s canine residents a place to run and play safely. The fenced-in space features an obstacle course complete with tunnels and jumps, and benches ring the park both inside and out, providing human guests a place to rest while the dogs romp. A separate area for smaller dogs ensures that all pups can have a good time with dogs they are comfortable around.
