There is a ton of grass for Fido to play in, as well as benches to relax and watch the natural wildlife go by. After a fun day out at the park, stop in to one of the many restaurants right off the lake to eat at. OIP: Original Italian Pizza offers an array of different New York style pizzas that you and your furry pal can enjoy. The Fish Company offers a straightforward seafood menu, including sandwiches and soups. Heid's of Liverpool offers quick-serve fare that includes hot dogs, sausages, and kielbasa. All of these pawsome restuanrs have dog friendly patios so Fido can you.

Elmcrest / Long Branch

The Wegmans Good Dog Park is a fantastic spot to take your pup for some fun off-leash time and to meet some new friends. The park includes an obstacle course, run area, water, and a two gate entry system so all the pups are safe. The park also offers large and small dog areas, so everyone can play with pups their own size and offers benches for owners. Outside of the park is a 5-mile trail that your pup can walk along that takes you beside the lake, and has doggie clean-up bag stations. This pup park is pawtastic!

Brookwood and Liverpool

The Syracuse Kickball Park is a great piece of open grassy space for you and Fido to visit for a fun walk, and to play in the grass. The park is mainly used for kickball games, but also has benches for owners to sit on and a nice walking path that Fido can use to get a good walk in. You can stop into Sharkey's Bar and Grill for a bite to eat in this roomy and vibrant hang out. They offer a simple menu offering American fare, and have an outdoor patio that welcomes pups. On occasion, they have special events and live music.

Landsend Ln / Alperton Ct

The Kimbrook Park is a small park on the outskirts of the Seneca River that you and Fido can get a good walk in at. The park features a playground, benches, and a lot of grass that Fido can run around and play on. There are only a few shaded areas, so make sure to bring plenty of water for your pup. Grab a bite to eat at Bull and Bear Roadhouse. This pawsome dog friendly restaurant offers a variety of American food, like wings, pasta, and BBQ, that both you and your pup can enjoy on their dog friendly patio.

Donwood

Head out to Duerr Park with your furry best friend for a great day out filled with exercise and fun. If Fido is looking for a less busy park in the area, this is the park to visit. This dogtastic park has a baseball and softball field, public pool, basketball courts, and a nice walking trail that is perfect for a good afternoon stroll. The park has a ton of grass that your dog can run in and play a nice game of fetch before heading home. Don't forget to bring water and clean-up bags with you when you visit.
