"My Jack is 9.5 years old. He's historically picky about cat beds. We looked at this for the warming quality. I was hesitant about the price since Jack is picky but it went on sale. The bed came! Jack showed interest but does not like the removable hood. We leave the hood off and Jack loves dozing away in the bed. A few days after getting the bed there was a hairball incident. I just unzipped the bottom Ave tossed in the wash. Jack was obviously agitated while the bed was being cleaned. Once out of the wash the bed was easy to reassemble and Jack is happy!"

Whisker City® Navy Fur Cat Hide Hut Bed
This was the first bed I ever bought for my Binx when he was a baby, and he absolutely loved it.
I liked it because it was compact (it's more long than wide) and affordable. My boys liked it because it was super warm and cozy and even had a little ball that hung over the entrance for them to swat (although the ball did not last very long with two rough kitties!)
My only complaint with this bed after having it for a full year is that I wish it was a bit bigger since my two large males no longer fit in it.

If there was an award for the cutest cat bed ever, the Armarkat Teepee cat bed would definitely take the prize. Honestly, why wouldn't your cat need a teepee?!
This bed is on the more expensive side, but the design alone is so unique and whimsical. Plus, it offers privacy and is large enough to last your kitty through every stage of life.
The best part is you can remove the inner cushion and throw it in the washer when it starts to get a bit dingy.

The "Armarkat Teepee Style Cat Bed" is the BOMB! Pita Pete and Boo LOVE this TeePee. They both fit inside the teepee (lodge) together, so far! There is no assembly required, other than put it up, stretch out the poles, insert cushion, wahla you have a teepee. The fabric design makes it darker inside the teepee, comes with a very plush, soft cushion for cat napping during the day. The front flaps can be tied back or left untied. My boys prefer untied, it gives them more darkness, seclusion, and peace. I'm thinking of buying another "Armarkat Teepee Style Cat Bed" since boys won't be full grown until March 2023."

If your kitty is getting up in age, it might be time to start looking into orthopedic beds. This faux fur orthopedic bed by Sheri SnuggleSoft is a great buy since it is quite affordable (and believe me, orthopedic beds can get PRICY.)
Another plus about this one is that it comes in three sizes and is big enough for small and mid-size dogs. The small and medium versions can be thrown in the washing machine when they get dirty, and the large size has a removable cover that is also machine washable.
