Rebel Raw produces four raw cat foods and lines of raw ground meat, organ meat, and treats to add some extra flavor to your feline fur-baby's dinnertime.

Rebel Raw's "complete and balanced" main cat food line consists of recipes loaded with protein—the top four ingredients in each recipe are a quality cut of muscle or organ meat. All recipes are grain-free and legume-free.

With only a handful of ingredients in each recipe (aside from nutritional supplements), Rebel Raw cat foods are a good choice for cats with food allergies. Rebel Raw adds wild salmon oil, an omega-3 fatty acid source, and organic kelp, which is high in fiber, to its recipes.

Rebel Raw deliveries come packed in dry ice, which can burn your skin when handled without gloves. You'll need to freeze your order to keep them fresh. Rebel Raw suggests thawing two days' worth of meals at a time and keeping them in the fridge. So, you'll need to plan ahead when feeding your cat a Rebel Raw diet.

Rebel Raw was established in 2014 by Atlanta locals Matt and Tina. Motivated by wanting to understand what's in our pet's food, Matt and Tina switched their pets to raw diets, which had numerous health benefits.

Turning their kitchen into a mini-laboratory, Matt and Tina worked tirelessly to determine the correct nutritional balance for their raw pet foods. After several years of tinkering with recipes from home, the Rebel Raw team finally moved into their own human-grade commercial kitchen. 

A decade after its foundation, Rebel Raw still produces its pet food in Atlanta, using locally sourced ingredients.

The FDA has recorded no Rebel Raw cat food recalls at the time of writing.
