Trust and Safety at Wag!

Our Commitment

When you turn to Wag! to care for your dog — an important member of your family — we take that responsibility very seriously. From the walkers we approve to join the Wag! platform to an expert Trust and Safety team, we’re committed to delivering you the peace of mind you expect and the happiness your dog deserves. Our commitment goes beyond insurance and innovation to the fact that we treat your dog just like we’d want ours to be treated. We strive to create joy for dogs and those who love them.
Walker Vetting
Every walker must pass a robust vetting process and a thorough background check to join the Wag! platform. In addition, each walk is insured and bonded.
24/7 Support
Wag! provides around-the-clock support for pet parents and walkers to ensure the best possible care for all involved. We’re here when you need us.
Latest Technology
The Wag! apps help us deliver innovative features that benefit pet parents, walkers, and pets. Pet parents can easily schedule walks on the app and follow the walks through GPS.
Trust & Safety Professionals
The Wag! Trust and Safety team and the Wag! Advisory Board are made up of dedicated professionals committed to delivering the best possible experience for pet parents, walkers, and dogs.

Our Advisory Board

Advisory Board provides professional expertise based on extensive experience in critically relevant backgrounds — veterinary medicine, law enforcement and client security, and dog training and behavior. By working with teams across the company, advisory board members help Wag! take a smart, holistic view of our people, platform and policies.

A Focus on Safety

Our commitment to safety includes providing regular tips to both pet parents and walkers. One example of this is weather alerts and additional guidance to help ensure the safety of dogs when temperatures rise or fall to extreme levels.
