In the neighborhood of Wethersfield, Connecticut sits a quaint little Dog Park named Mill Woods Park Dog Park. This park is a low-key environment where your pooch can be free to run around and make friends. It is an off-leash dog park where pups are free to stretch their legs and play. The areas are separated by your pooch’s size. There is also a shady portion of the park which is the pawfect place for you and your pooch to rest on hot days. Benches, picnic tables, trash cans, poop bag stations, and water are provided. Be sure to check the message boards when you visit to keep up with what’s happening.

In this pawesome dog-friendly neighborhood is the South Windsor Bark Park. This park is fairly new and is highly rated by the locals. The park is completely fenced-in, so your pooch is free to ditch the leash, frolic, play, and socialize to his heart's content. Small dogs and large dogs each have their own area for safe play. There’s also agility equipment to give your pooch a good workout. Since the park is mostly covered in wood chips, you won't have to worry about your furry friend getting down and dirty at this dog park!

This neighborhood is located about 8 miles southeast of Avon, but the short drive is well worth it. Here, you'll find the Farmington River Trail, a well-maintained, scenic river trail that you and your pooch are sure to love. Don't forget to bring a camera along to capture the gorgeous views this trail has to offer. There is convenient access to this trail and your pup will have a great time sniffing the scents of nature. This dog-friendly neighborhood is located about 26 miles south of Avon and is home to the Cheshire Dog Park. This dog park encompasses 2 acres of fenced-in space so your pooch can play safely. This park is an off-leash dog park, so let your pooch run wild (in the enclosed area, of course) and make some new friends! There’s also agility equipment for the more rambunctious pups. Waste receptacles are provided, so make sure you use them! After all, no one likes a litterbug. Don't forget to take water along, since it's not provided.
