Take your pup to the Golfview Village neighborhood for a furrific day out at the Rantoul Dog Park, located within the Saint Andrews Circle, just next to the Rantoul Golf Course. The dog park in Rantoul is large and spacious, inviting all pups big or small to come and enjoy the expansive green space off-leash! The dog park welcomes well-behaved pets to run and play in a safe space. Humans are encouraged to rest and relax while their pups play! While there are dog waste receptacles located on-site, it's always a good idea to bring a few of your own in case there are none left. The dog park is also nearby a school, so make sure to keep Fido on-leash when entering and exiting the dog park.

Central Rantoul

The Central Rantoul neighborhood is bustling with residents who frequently enjoy an outing to the local Wabash Park! Wabash Park features a very large open space for people and pups to enjoy outdoor activities of all kinds. In addition to the spacious grounds, there are five baseball and softball diamonds which are heavily used throughout the summer for tournaments. You and your pup can watch a game as you stroll the park (just keep an eye out for flying balls!) In addition, Wabash Park boasts outdoor tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, several children's playground structures and equipment, plus a large pavilion for families and friends to enjoy picnicking or celebrating for a special occasion.

Northwest Rantoul

Wag up to the Northwest Rantoul neighborhood to enjoy even more puptastic city parks! Head over to the Rudzinski Park to enjoy a leisurely walk, run, or cycle, around the bike paths which circle the recently renovated pond. While there's no fishing allowed right now, you are welcome to plop down on the benches or grab a seat at the small pavilion with picnic tables while the kiddos enjoy the play equipment. You and Fido will also love the Glenwood Park which boasts a spacious grassy area for all sorts of activities. Public restrooms, picnic tables, pavilions, and benches are also available at this park! Keep in mind Rantoul's city parks require that pups must be kept on-leash and any waste needs to be removed.

Lancaster Dr

The Lancaster Drive neighborhood offers tail-waggers two quaint city parks where you can go walking with your pup or simply take Fido to go potty. Ryan Park is one such option that is conveniently located just off the Rantoul bike path and features a small, shady area equipped with a kid's playground. The North Drive Park is another great option for short or long visits as it boasts picnic tables and grill areas, an outdoor basketball court, a shady pavilion, and a handicap accessible playground. South Rantoul's neighborhood offers a barkload of fun for doggos and their owners. Enjoy the sunshine with a splash by visiting the Heritage Lake and Park in South Rantoul. This large man-made lake is the pawfect location to visit on a hot summer day. Enjoy an exciting round of fishing (catch and release recommended) or just relax by the lakeside in the spacious Heritage Park! Small boats are also welcome, as long as they are not gas-powered. In addition to these puptastic amenities, the park and lake also feature a covered pavilion, a playground for children, a beach volleyball court, picnic tables, and horseshoe pits! You and Fido will have a grand time at Heritage Lake and Park in South Rantoul!
