Beech Grove's very own dog park is located in Sarah T. Bolton Park in central Beech Grove. The Paw Patch Dog Park is a one-acre dog park with a grass surface and plenty of natural shade for hot days. For everyone's safety, there are certain requirements to access this park, including paying a yearly fee. This fee gives you access to a beautiful park that has a gated entry system for which you need a key to access. Within the park, there are benches for owners as well as doggy waste disposal stations, but no separate areas for big or small dogs. The rest of the park has playgrounds, picnic facilities, and other fun family activities.

Paul Ruster Park

In less than a 20-minute drive from Beech Grove, you can get to Paul Ruster Park in eastern Indianapolis. This 82-acre city park has a plethora of activities for the whole family to enjoy, including a playground, a fishing pond, picnic structures, and even a dog park! The Paul Ruster Bark Park has a section for big dogs and another for small dogs, and you'll need a pass to enter both parts. Like most Indianapolis dog parks, the Paul Ruster Bark Park requires paying either a yearly or a daily fee to access. These fees go toward keeping Indianapolis dog parks as beautiful and well-maintained as they are!

It takes just a little more than a 20-minute drive north from Beech Grove to get to the Waggin' Tails Bark Park at Louis Jenn Memorial Park in northeastern Indianapolis. This beautifully-maintained dog park has all of the amenities that make a dog park great, including agility equipment, seating, and water fountains that serve both humans and canines! The yearly fee required to join this park goes toward keeping this a safe, clean, and fun place for local dogs and their owners to socialize and exercise. Each year, there is a limit of 500 spots opened up for park membership to ensure it doesn't get too busy.

The city of Greenfield, Indiana is about a half-hour drive northeast of Beech Grove. In the northeastern tip of the city sits Rover's Run Bark Park on two acres of land. This lovely dog park is a peaceful spot in the city where locals and visitors alike come to offer their dogs the freedom of unleashed exercise. You'll need to purchase a yearly pass to access the park, and provide proof of your dog's vaccinations before you get a card that gives you park access. Once you're in the park, you and your dog can enjoy paved walkways, watering stations, and plenty of trees.

Franklin is a city in Indiana with a population of around 25,000 people, and it's less than a half-hour drive south of Beech Grove. In downtown Franklin, there's a place called Province Park, and it's a popular gathering spot for all kinds of activities. There are playgrounds, walking trails, a skate park, picnic facilities, and even an off-leash dog park! The Province Dog Park is clean and well-maintained, and it requires a yearly membership fee to access to ensure it stays in such great shape. There are water, seating, and waste disposal items in the off-leash park. You can walk your dog in the rest of the park, but they must be on a leash.
