Ste. Genevieve

Ste. Genevieve

Ste. Genevieve is located thirty-seven miles east of Desloge. Fleur de Lis Dog Park is as colorful as its name suggests. This dog park was a labor of love by the community. It began as an Eagle Scout project, and soon, the whole city took part in making it a truly beautiful place to take a pup to play. The city donated old tires and drainage pipes, and with a paint can and an artist's touch, pup playground equipment was created. The dog park itself is a fenced, grassy space where all dogs can play together. A single yellow bench, sans shade, gives people a place to sit and watch their pups make a new canine buddy.  No fees or registration is required to use the dog park.
Arnold

Arnold

Arnold is located forty-seven miles north of Desloge. The city has two Paw Parks which are pawfect for leash-free exercise and socialization.  One is located in City Park and the other at the Ferd B. Lang Park. These identically designed dog parks have all the space a dog needs to stretch their paws in the grass. Separate fenced areas are also provided for the small breeds. The dog parks feature drinking water, waste stations with necessary supplies, and plenty of shaded benches for the comfort of the human companions. The dog parks are free and do not require any registration to visit.
