Mosquito Lake State Park
Ruffly 23 miles are between you and the Mosquito Lake Dog Park, located in Cortland. Five acres of wooded area are surrounded by a fence so your pup can run and play to their heart's content. Differently sized puppers can enjoy their own separate spaces. Another reason to visit this doggie heaven is the swimming area where your pooch can splash around and get plenty of exercise! Drinking water is available, and if you get too tired of running around with your dog, you can rest upon one of the shaded benches. Don't forget to bring a towel and waste bags for a pawfect day at the dog park!36

Downtown Hermitage
If you're willing to take your pup to a place that's more modest but far closer to Hubbard than the previous park, check out the Hillcrest Dog Park, located around 10 miles away. Even though the park is small, it has all the necessary amenities that you and your dog might need. Separately fenced areas are available so doggies can make new friends their own size off-leash. If you feel like hanging out with your pup after dark, you can in this park thanks to the night lighting. Water is available on-site, and your pet has to pass a behavior test in order to register for a membership.24

Kirk Road
Another pawesome option where your pooch can stretch their paws is the Austintown Dog Park. The park is located in the northern part of Canfield, just 18 miles away from Hubbard. Doggos can enjoy playing and training on the agility equipment available at this park while you rest on the benches provided. There is a small area for tinier pooches that's separately fenced. You have to clean up after your dog, and if your pup is younger than 4 months, this place is not for you. If you prefer trails, you can access pawlenty of them outside of the fenced area!12

Schenley
For those of you who want to explore larger open spaces with your pups, we recommend Mill Creek Park, located in the Youngstown's neighborhood of Schenley, just 10 miles away. The park is very spacious, which gives you and your pup a great opportunity to explore and hike. You can trek a variety of trails, marvel at historic log cabins, meet plenty of wildlife, and enjoy mesmerizing gardens. If you decide to visit the park, your dog has to be leashed at all times, and you should bring waste baggies with you so you can clean up after your pet.
