Main Street
Main Street is a great place to begin exploring Canfield. It runs through the heart of town, and as you walk around, you will get a great feel for the city. Head to Greasel Park for a short stroll about the premises: you’re sure to bump into some locals and hear what’s going on in town. Head north up Youngstown-Salem Road to explore even more of the city or walk west through welcoming suburban neighborhoods filled with trees and small ponds. If you decide to go south, you’ll encounter Fair Park on Fair Street. This is a great, out-of-the-way spot to play fetch — or to rest your legs!

North Canfield
Follow Youngstown-Salem road north and you will reach North Canfield. Argus Park is a beautiful place to get some fresh air. Be sure to visit Austintown Township Park: the park has a fenced-in dog park with separate sections for large and small dogs, as well as agility equipment and an obstacle course! Canfield Community Park is another option for a walk outside, but your pup will have to stay their leash. When you’re done there you and your dog will probably have worked up quite the appetite, so head to the Phoenix Fire Grill and Bar with its six dog-friendly tables.
