Hamilton Bark Park is a furrific place for off-leash playtime with plenty of room for your pup to explore and sniff out some new friends. Water is provided for you and your pup, and doggie waste bags are usually available, but bring some just in case the park runs out. There's even a dog sculpture here that makes the pawfect photo op with Fido! Shaded seats are a great place for pet parents to keep an eye on their pups. The best part is this park is just 10 miles from Seven Mile, so your hound can visit any time he wants some off-leash freedom!

Timberman

Voice of America Park has 435 acres of trails and green spaces to explore. One of the trails even winds around a stocked pond where you and your dog can fish! Three acres of this park are fully fenced so that you can let your dog off her leash to stretch her legs and find some new canine companions. The dog park does provide water and doggie waste bags, but you will need to need to have some on hand while you are exploring the rest of the area. This park is just 10 miles out of town, so leash up and head on out for a pawesome time at the park!

Old Irwin Road

Schapparer Dog Park is about twenty miles away in Mason. This park has a wooded area with multiple paved trails where you and your dog can enjoy a leashed stroll together. The dog park itself is only about half an acre, but that's plenty of room for Fido to play! You can sit on the benches while your pup works up a good pant. Water is provided, and doggie waste bags are located in the trash cans. Outside of the dog park, there is a separate playground for your little humans to run and play on. Picnic tables make it easy to enjoy a meal out in the fresh air.

High Street

If you're looking for some real comfort food, then you will want to make the twenty-mile trip over to Mason. The High Street Cafe has three dog-friendly tables where you can chow down on breakfast burritos, an omelette, or a signature sandwich. The locals pawsitively love the High Street Cafe's take on the traditional Reuben sandwich. Your dog will need to stay on her leash while you are here. Don't forget to bring a water and food dish if you want your pup to share your meal. You and your pooch will be regulars at this family-friendly restaurant in no time!

Downtown

If you and your hound are hungry, you're in the right place! Downtown Hamilton is home to several dog-friendly chain restaurants where you can grab a quick bite to-go, or enjoy a sit-down meal with your favorite doggie dinner date. Craving a sweet treat? Stop in at Flub's Dari-ette! This local establishment -- lovingly dubbed "Flubs" by the locals -- has been serving up your favorite ice cream flavors for generations. There are three dog-friendly tables here where you can let your good boy (or girl!) indulge in a pup cup. Just remember to keep your furry friend on a leash. Bone Appetit!
