The Oxford Community Park is a pawsome park to hang out at with your pup. The park features a baseball and softball field, soccer field, and basketball courts. There are numerous game courts, like shuffle board and horseshoes, plus a gazebo and picnic area. This 113-acre park also features a great walking path and nature area that you and Fido can use to get a good walk in. Make sure to keep your pup on a leash while you are visiting and don't forget to bring water and clean-up bags along with you to the park.

Mile Square

The Oxford Memorial Park is a fun park to bring your dog to for a great afternoon out. Your dog will love all the amenities that the park offers, including the picnic table, outdoor amphitheater, and benches for relaxing. There is a great walking path around the park for a puptastic walk. After a fun day out at the park, head over to Starbucks to grab a drink or bite to eat. They offer salads, breakfast items, and an array of coffee drinks. Enjoy your meal on their dog friendly patio where Fido can get his own puppiccino.

S College Ave/ W Walnut Street

While exploring Oxford, there are two great restaurants the two of you can can head into for a bite to eat. Fiesta Charra is a Mexican restaurant that offers tacos, burritos, and fajitas. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so you and Fido can stop in whenever you like. Graeter's Ice Cream is a small-batch ice cream shop that serves French pot-style ice cream. They have an array of flavors like toffee chocolate chip or peach. Both of these delcious restaraunts offer dog friendly patios where you pup can sit alongside you while you enjoy delicious food.

College Corner

The Hueston Woods State Park is a dogtastic park to check out with your pup. With 3,000-acres to explore, your dog will love visiting this park with you by his side. The park includes fishing, hiking, boating, and camping that you both can enjoy together. Take advantage of the hiking trails that go throughout this huge park, and get a good walk in while you are out. Keep your pup on a leash and pay attention to signs, because there are some areas that your dog isn't allowed in. Don't forget to bring water along as well.

Miami University

Right down the road from Miami University, in the neighorhood of the same name, is the Leonard G. Howell Park. This beautiful park offers two small ponds and a wide open space for fetch. There is a lovely walking trail throughout the park that goes between the ponds. Along the path, there are benches where you can sit down and relax. The park is covered in trees to help provide shade. Keep your dog on a leash while you are visiting this pawsome park together, and don't forget to bring your clean-up bags.
