Mounds State Recreational Area

The Mounds State Recreational Area is a lovely spot for you to take your dog to on a warm day. It is about a 20-minute drive from Brookville and well worth the drive if you are looking for a pup-friendly afternoon activity. You can walk or hike the trails of the recreational area. There are fishing spots as well if your dog doesn't mind waiting for a bite on the end of your line. Just make sure you have a leash on your dog to keep him safe and away from stray fishing lines. Whitewater Memorial State Park

This lovely and expansive state park is just 22 minutes north of Brookville. You will find there is plenty of room for you to hike and explore with your dog in this pupperific park.
