Mount Bethel
On the east border of Mount Bethel, you and Fido will be able to get a little exercise in the community park. This green space includes a ball field, playground, and open areas where you and your pooch can stretch your legs. Make sure to keep your pup on a leash and to pick up any messes while in the park. If you’re visiting the area with your special pal, check out Mount Bethel AirBnB Rentals to find dog-friendly accommodations, such as The Stone Farmhouse. North Bangor
Located just 5.5 miles west of Mount Bethel, the neighborhood of North Bangor is a pawtastic place for you and Fido to explore the Blue Ridge Mountain region. Head to Fishing Lake and Park to wander through the wooded areas or walk along East Fork Martins Creek. Remember to keep your pup on a leash when in area parks. If you’re looking for a place to go camping with your pooch, check out Camp Charles Campground. Pen Argyl
When you want to get some exercise with your pup on a pawtastic trail, drive nine miles southwest of Mount Bethel to the community of Pen Argyl. Here, you will find the northern trailhead for the Plainfield Township Trail. You and Fido can enjoy a scenic walk or jog together on this crushed stone path. There are five bridge crossings over Bushkill Creek on the 6.7-mile trail. Dogs are welcome on this trail provided they’re on a leash up to six feet long. Don't forget to bring all the necessities, including water, waste bags, and a leash.12

New Village
Take a drive about six miles southwest from Mount Bethel to the neighborhood of New Village in Bangor. In this small community, you and Fido will find three parks with recreational fields and five smaller pocket parks. Take your pup to Memorial Park and walk the track around the football field, or head over to Flory’s Dam Park and walk along Martins Creek through the open field and wooded areas. Make sure to keep your furry friend on a leash and pick up any messes. After you get some exercise, you and your pooch can enjoy a treat at Dinky’s Ice Cream Parlor.
