Heath Vlg & Schooleys Mountain Rd
Long Valley is located eleven miles north of High Bridge. Long Valley Dog Park gives pups a perfect place to exercise in ruffly an acre of fully fenced space. This grassy playground does not have a separate enclosure for small dogs. Myriad types of agility equipment beg Spot to sit up and take notice. A-frames, beams, and an obstacle course bark out for some extra training or just more fun. The dog park lacks water on-site, but waste stations have supplies of baggies for convenient doo-doo duty. Chairs are scattered about the park for the human folk. The park is open from 8 a.m. until dusk. A membership is required to visit this park.36

Pluckemin
The Pluckemin neighborhood in Bedminster is just sixteen miles east of High Bridge. Burnt Hills Dog Park gives doggos a place to gain some liberty from leashes and live a few hours on the wild side! This half-acre, fully fenced natural area doesn't have all the amenities, but it does serve the pup-ose. No water is available, so bring water and bowls. Human companions may have to tough it out for their canine friend with limited seating and shade. Waste stations do have waste baggies for convenient cleanups. The main park has some picnic sites and some open spaces, but a leash is required here.24

Bedminster
Bedminster is located sixteen miles east of High Bridge. Your Max or Molly will wiggle with delight at the sight of the River Road Dog Park! This fully-fenced half-acre of space gives every dog a good day. The pooch playspace does not have a dedicated area for small dogs, though. The two-legged companions will find a few benches from which to supervise their playing furry pal. Don't forget to bring water and some bowls because these aren't supplied in the dog park. Waste stations have supplies to make pick ups a snap. This dog park is free and open to the public.12

Ledgewood
The Ledgewood neighborhood of Roxbury Township is twenty-one miles north of High Bridge. Roxbury Dog Park has a fully fenced enclosure of about an eighth of an acre for your canine's leash-free chance to meet a few new furry buddies. It has a separately fenced enclosure for the smaller dogs, too. This dog park has several pieces of agility equipment, including a bridge and tube. Brightly colored decorative fire hydrants let dogs claim the property as their own. The surface of the dog park is pea gravel. Visitors to the dog park need to register and pay a small fee to the City.
