West Downingtown
Downington is a Pennsylvania borough with a population of just under 8,000 people. A 28-minute drive from Spring City will get you to west Downington, which is where you will find Lloyd Park. This large dog park has everything you and your dog need for a successful trip to the dog park: tons of space to run, trails to explore, a creek to swim in, and plenty of friendly dogs for yours to play with. There is also a dog-washing station at the exit of the park, so if your dog gets messy, you can clean them up before you head home.36

Central Pottstown
The borough of Pottstown is about 40-miles north of Philadelphia and has a population of almost 23,000 people. You can take a quick drive from Spring City to Pottstown and visit their dog park called the Pottstown Dog Park. This park is a membership-only park that requires a small yearly fee to get a key that allows you to access the park. There are several waste bag stations within the park, and park visitors are good at keeping the space clean and fun for everyone. There is also a hand-washing station outside of the park and plenty of shade to keep you and Fido cool on hot days.24

East Phoenixille
Reynold's Dog Park at Schuylkill Canal Park in east Phoenixville, Pennsylvania is definitely worth the 15-minute drive from Spring City. This big off-leash park is fenced with additional areas for big and small dogs to run and play safely with dogs of the same size. This park also has a double-gated entry system to ensure dogs with a habit of taking off are safely contained within the confines of the park. This park doesn't offer a lot of shade, so be sure to visit during times of the day when the sun isn't at its peak.

South Haverford
If you've got the time, don't miss out on visiting the Haverford Reserve Dog Park in south Haverford, which is about a 35-minute drive from Spring City. This park was built in 2010, and it has convenient features like LED lighting for walking at night, a sheltered pavilion, benches, and plenty of shade. The park also offers separate areas for little dogs and another for big dogs to play together. The community takes great pride in the Haverford Reserve Dog park, and 90% of it is maintained by volunteers, dog owners, and generous donations. Note that this park has a two-dog limit per person, so if you have a large pack of dogs, you'll have to visit with two of them at a time.
