Eckley

The Carquinez Straight Regional Shoreline offers 1,415-acres of bluffs and shoreline for you and Fido to enjoy. The shoreline offers a few trails for you and Fido to journey along, including the Franklin Ridge Loop Trail and the California Riding and Hiking Trail. Make sure to keep your pup on a leash while you visit since the shoreline has tons of natural wildlife running around it. The Bull Valley Trail offers a 0.7-mile hike throughout the regional shoreline and is the perfect distance if you and Fido are in a hurry for a quick walk. With an elevation of only 750-feet, everybody can easily hike this trail with their furry pal. Make sure to bring plenty of water while you explore this pawsome area.

Crolona Heights

Take Fido over to Alexander Park for a dogtastic day out exploring. This pawtastic park offers a picnic area with BBQs, multiple playgrounds, swings, and tennis and bocce ball courts. There's even a stage which sometimes hosts live music events, so be aware of the schedule if you have a skiddish pup. With tons of grass for fetch and grass rolling, you can relax on a bench while your pup sniffs about, or take a walk throughout the park. Alexander Park is open from dawn until one hour after dusk, so you and your pup will have plenty of time to enjoy it. 

Hasford Heights

Located in Richmond and only twelve miles out of Crockett, your dog will love journeying through the Wildcat Canyon Regional Park, which offers tons of trails through forest, grasslands, farmlands, and creeks, and even has a picnic area. Part of the park has an off leash area so your pup can run free and explore. While hiking through the 2,427-acres, you will be surrounded by hills and ridges that Fido will love climbing. If you're looking for a quiet place to rest, check out Alvarado Park. Located inside of the Regional Park, this smaller park offers a playground and picnic area for you and Fido to relax at. 

Wildflower

Only ten miles out of Crockett in Pleasant Hill, your pup won't mind drive to visit the Paso Nogal Dog Park, a fully fenced in dog park that offers a separated area for small and large dogs. With pawsome amenities like grass and dirt to run on, a water station, benches for owners, and trees to provide shade, your pup is going to love hanging out at this park with you. The Paso Nogal Park that surrounds the dog park has great activites that you and Fido can do if you would rather skip the dog park. With a picnic area and a great walking trail, your pup will have a great time away from the other pups. 

Martinez

Head into Martinez and grab a bite to eat with your furry pal by your side. The Sunflower Garden is a casual Chinese restaurant that serves a variety of flavorful and delicious cuisine. Their menu includes seafood, beef, pork, and vegetarian dishes. The Beaver Creek Smokehouse serves competition style BBQ and offers beer on tap. Locals love their prime rib dinners, plus they have platters filled with meat. Both of these delicious restaurants offer dog friendly patios where Fido can hang out with you while you get a tasty bite to eat. Located only ten miles out of Crockett in Martinez, your pup is going to love getting his or her foodie on with you.
