Central Augusta

Central Augusta

If you are an Augusta resident you are extremely lucky because smack dab in the center of your city is the Pendleton King Bark Park. This park has everything you could possibly ask for in a dog park. It has lots of obstacle courses and puppy agility training equipment as well as a kiddie pool for dogs to splash around during a hot summer day. Even though the park is in the center of the city, it is not paved and only covered in wood chips which are a lot nicer for soft paws. The park also has plenty of water and doggie poop bags!

This hidden gem is located between a beautiful footpath and butterfly garden. The park also has plenty of shaded areas where you can sit and relax while your dog runs around. Furthermore, the park does have many amenities so feel free to leave your water and doggie poop bags at home. But since the park does not have any toys, make sure you bring your own
