Dog Areas in Intercourse

Intercourse is a small, unincorporated village located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania that is famous for its sexually suggestive name. Because of the name, even the movie Witness starring Harrison Ford was filmed in Intercourse.  A fun fact is that, because of the unusual name, signposts with the town's name are often stolen. Another thing that attracts tourists to Intercourse is its location in Amish country. Tourism and farming are the major industries that keep this village alive.

In case you need a place to stay with your pooch, you should check out Beacon Hill Camping, where doggies are allowed in the cottages. If you prefer something more traditional, head to Harvest Drive Family Inn, which welcomes doggos as well. For more options, head to Lancaster.

While you're in Intercourse, you can grab a bite at the Stoltzfus Meats or grab a coffee in Corner Coffee Shop with your pup. In case you want more restaurants, bars and coffee shops to visit, Lancaster has more than 40 places that will gladly welcome you and your pooch on their outdoor patios!
