Aliso Creek flows near to this beach, and through the middle of it to reach the ocean. The creek's waters are too contaminated for swimming, and the current is very strong, so stick to the ocean when you want to take a dip. While this is not the best spot to practice your doggy paddling skills, water sports aficionados think the place is pawsitively awesome for surfing, skimboarding, scuba diving, and more! Fido may join you in all areas of Aliso Beach, but he must remain on a leash at all times. The local paw patrol do pop by in search of stray canines, so you'll want to keep an eye that your best canine pal puts on the dog with his very best doggy manners!
Aliso Beach is a pawsome spot to view migratory birds and even dolphins and whales. This is one beach you'll want to be sure you bring your camera to as you won't want to miss out on the furrific shots of the scenery and wildlife!
Feeling hungry after your beach adventure? Aliso Beach offers a concession stand where you can purchase snacks and drinks, or you can enjoy a packed lunch from home along the coast. There are even fire pits where you can light a bonfire and snuggle up with Fido and the fam to catch a glimpse of the woofderfully glorious sunsets.
Bathrooms that feature showers are available for the pawblic to use. There is a large parking area near the Aliso Beach County Park where you can park your car for the cost of $1 per hour. At the park, you will also find a playground for the kiddoes to enjoy. Your pooch can also join you at this pawsome recreational spot which is located directly across the street from the beach, but he must remain leashed here as well. Be sure to pack bottled water and some cleanup sacks in your beach bag.
